I'm a South West London-based printmaker specializing in reduction linocut, with a growing practice in etching. My work explores the patterns and rhythms of the natural world, influenced by the English countryside of my childhood and travels in Japan.Reduction linocut demands careful planning and decisive action, each carved layer is permanent, each color built upon the last. This balance of control and risk, of technical precision and intuitive mark-making, is what draws me to the medium.
Trained at Putney School of Art and Design, London Print Studio, and The Art Academy, I'm as interested in the craft and process of printmaking as I am in the finished work.
Monthly deep dives into reduction linocut technique and my journey learning to etch.
